So this is my first time making candles, I reused the old wax I had from other candles. In the reviews I saw that people had trouble getting candles so I read the list more. If you follow the directions to freeze the mold for 15 minutes before pouring the wax, the candle should pop out once it hardens. I really like this shape, I only have two problems: the wick is difficult to insert and I had to cut out the plastic. shavings out of shape when I first got them; and that the ground is uneven. Otherwise I think it's a great shape and easy to use.
