All in all these are pretty good sunglass holders but I lost one after 3 days because the hinge fell out and I couldn't find it. The next one lasted only 2 days before I saw the loop was almost completely misplaced and I was able to put it back in. However, the loops keep coming out. Nothing holds them in place. I used a small drop of liquid silicone on one side to hold the hinge in place and it's working fine now. I have a much older one in my car and when I compared it to the new ones I saw that the old one had a metal tab and was widened to hold it in place. Newer devices have a simple plastic hinge that doesn't hold anything. So I added silicone.
