Review on Electric Infrared Adjustable Thermostat Protection by Maribel Gilbe

Generates a lot of heat

My wife had rotator cuff surgery so she needs more time to do everything with one hand, including toweling off, when you get out of the shower. Since it's winter now I bought this to keep them warm while drying. Because this heater is infrared, the heat is immediately available. You don't have to heat up the whole room to feel instantly warm. It works like a giant heat lamp. The heating works well and is relatively quiet. In the photos it looked like it had 2 tubes, but actually only one. The unit is said to be 1500 watts but mine has never used more than 1300 watts with the generator on (see photo). The reflector gives the impression of having multiple tubes, but in the middle it only has one tube. When vibration is enabled, the power cord will rotate with the device, so you need to make sure the cord has enough slack. This isn't the best design. The device also has a metal pole that you can install to make sure you don't place it too close to a wall. I haven't installed it. Just keep it at least a foot away from the wall and you'll be fine. I have no complaints about heat dissipation, but I'm deducting a star for poor cable design and <1300W power.

Pros
  • Energy-saving and durable: With carbon tube heating technology, heat is dissipated in a small space, which greatly saves energy costs. High-quality materials ensure stable performance and long service life.
Cons
  • Weak Kit
