approx. The Clean Station allows you to automatically dump the robot (through a door on the bottom) into a station that vacuums the dust collected in the robot's bin. The robot's dirt is filtered through a filter that looks a bit like a car's air filter. There is no bag in the robot. Ironically, the base station sucks into the filter bag from the robot, creating two different filter and dust collection systems in the same product, and the consumable filter bag needs to be replaced when full. Lidar in combination with IR sensors leads the Jet Bot+. Together the sensors work well to cover the reachable area of the room you want to vacuum. Small objects like USB cables can cause problems when they are close to the ground (the robot has no object recognition), but in general the vacuum cleaner covers an area well and often goes over areas twice. You'll need to use the app's map feature to keep the robot away from places it's getting stuck - and it can get stuck, and when it does it's not always easy to figure out what's confusing it as to why it's in an area keeps getting stuck. The Jet Bot+ doesn't have the strongest suction, which is probably why it repeats areas often, but it does a good job of covering up and cleaning up surface dirt. I'm not sure if it does a good deep cleaning, but if you want a deeper clean, you can turn on "Maximum" mode. I would compare this vacuum to the iRobot i4 Plus and iRobot i7+ and the new Neato D10. . All for the same price. Both iRobots have base stations that allow the robot to board them. The Neato doesn't have a base station to empty, but it does have a charging station and its internal dust bin is twice the size of this Samsung. Neato also works with lidar, but my Neato D10 gets stuck far more often than my Jet Bot+. This is a very good robot vacuum cleaner and you will not regret buying it. It's clearly in the same league as the similarly priced iRobot Roomba.
