Be careful with this one

Arrived two days late, no big deal. The big thing is that the product description advertises the filling as "700" - whatever that is, but what I got was sad sad sad. I opened it up last night and slept underneath it, hoping that maybe it would fluff up after unpacking. I held the quilted panels up to the backlight and unfortunately the padding was not only flimsy, it was completely uneven from panel to panel. I slept under a real duvet on holiday in Germany and it was even smaller than the rumors about it. I don't know how so many so-called 'unbiased' reviewers who received a free rating could call this outstanding. In college I had a North Face down jacket that was really well filled with real goose down, so I figured I would give this comforter a try the tailoring is good the cotton coating is nice there is just nothing in it the label says there is 30 ounces of filling in the queen quilt I would look for more in a quilt this large it are not even two pounds under the covers. Another example of a so-called deal that never materialized. Update: After reading the label on the duvet, I see that the guaranteed actual goose down content is 75%, so pure down ends kinda clean - 3/4 clean down anyway.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
