It worked very well. I read many reviews before buying a Halloween costume. I bought two of each color I ordered knowing it would be a small container to cover my arms, legs and face. I only had to order one because I didn't even use the extra one I bought and I have plenty left! (I've worn a lot too.) Below are some of the things I've been looking for but haven't read the reviews. 1. It washed off beautifully at the end of the night and left no stains on my shower, shower curtain, countertop or sink. ***Purple was a little harder to wash off, my friend said he must really get clean. I used green and it washes out easily.2. Use lipstick to complete the color, I bought green lipstick at the dollar store and applied it over lip balm3. Buy paint sponges and test them on your hands4. LESS IS MORE. I got too dark at first because I'm a perfectionist and I thought I had to fill up completely. I ended up wiping the layer off in the middle of the night because I had applied too much. Take it for touch ups if you go out and plan on dancing and sweating - I had to touch up my lips from drinking without a straw and sweating a bit. because I applied too much.
