Review on 🔁 Refurbished Linksys WHW0101-RM2 Velop Mesh WiFi System Dual-Band AC3900, White, 3-Pack - Enhanced Internet Coverage! by Abbas Kumar

This is a review of a Linksys VELOP product, not a seller. I had no problems with my order or delivery. The Linksys VELOP system is advertised as an advanced tri-band mesh network with self-healing capabilities (if a node fails, the system reassigns the failed node). Unfortunately, this is not the case and Linksys is aware of the issues but is doing nothing. I have several serious problems that make the system unusable for me / I would like to be informed before purchasing. (1) Child nodes with excellent connectivity will randomly drop the connection. (2) Nodes do not repair themselves or reconnect automatically. If your child nodes lose connectivity for any reason, including random radio or power outages, ISP outages, etc., you MUST restart the nodes manually. Rebooting nodes in a very specific order OR they tend to connect directly to the most upstream (parent) node resulting in very poor internet connection/low speed DESPITE a strong Wi-Fi signal. (4) The Android app does not support push notifications. so the admin isn't notified when a node goes down (5) Linksys Support: very nice people, but reading a script someone developed to serve as an infinite loop. I believe this was designed to frustrate customers and force them to keep going as they can't really fix the issues. My tech support has been updated, rolled back and updated the firmware to no avail. I've been on the phone with Linksys support for over 10 hours and they all agree the system is set up correctly but still not working. (6) New features never appear: Linksys support promised me new features in the firmware that never came. This pushed me out of the returns window and now I have an expensive set of white Linksys bricks. Do not buy this product if you need more than 2 WiFi hotspots.
