Great price for these pens; very strong! I installed them on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Highly recommended! The only major issue for me was that they came with no instructions. I've never installed them and no one has been able to do it for me so it was trial and error, but I installed them correctly (after searching online for instructions/videos). To help all orderers here are the instructions: You will need: 2 Allen keys that come with the jeep (lg=6mm; sm=?mm), socket wrench with extension and 13mm and 10mm sockets. Sort the parts: (for the front seat handles:) 2 small curved handles with 2 long spacers and 2 long thick screws and 2 short spacers with blunt ends with 2 short thick screws. , & 4 short screws. FRONT HANDLEBAR INSTALLATION: Using a 13mm socket with extension, remove only the top bolt from the quarter panel near the windshield (be careful not to get it between the moldings!); and then remove the outer screw from the top (next to the visor). Do this on each side of the car. Hold each handle as they are placed in the jeep. **Note the holes in each handle; Each grip has larger holes on one side of the handlebar than the other, as well as holes on top. The big hole should be outside, closest to you; smaller hole against jeep plate. This will help you differentiate between the driver's left grip and the passenger's right grip. Left handle = smaller hole on the left, larger hole on the right; Right handle = smaller hole on the right, larger hole on the left. Insert a long spacer and a long screw into the side holes to attach the handle to the side; and a small blunt washer with a short screw at the top hole of the grip to attach it to the top/visor section. *** You are sitting at a slight angle, slightly inclined towards you, NOT STRAIGHT; and that's fine. *** Using a hex wrench, screw in slowly one at a time, just enough to engage and avoid twisting the threads. The screws go all the way in and are very secure once tightened. Now do the same on the other side!FOR REAR SEATS/HANDREST:Using a 10mm socket wrench with extension, remove the 2 screws on the inner roof closest to the rear doors. 2 short curved spacers and 2 screws required. The handle or curved portion of the steering wheel should be closest to the back of the front seat head restraints. If you put them upside down people will hit their heads getting in and out! Align the handlebar with the holes on top, the curved spacer around the handlebar, the flat part of the spacer closest to the roof and insert the screws from below. Use a small allen wrench to turn them enough to secure them, then screw them in evenly until they stop. Do the same with the other side and you're done! All the handles are mounted and now you can be sure that your little mother-in-law can now climb safely!
