Review on Scion TC Rear Hatch Trunk Liftgate Lift Supports Struts Shocks 4597, SG329031 - Pack of 2, 2005-2010 by Barton Perez

I had an old pair in my trunk (probably original as it looked like the screw had never been removed before) and worn out meaning the trunk won't open stayed and would close if my hand wasn't holding it. It didn't bother me until it nearly resulted in an accident. Using a jam stick alongside the old ones didn't work so I bought these. As I mentioned before, it's very likely they never changed as the old parts were difficult to remove, so it took a little longer than I expected. But these worked better than I expected. After installation, my trunk lifted, causing the car to rise for a second. Instead of using my hand to prevent the trunk from closing too much, I now use my hand to prevent the trunk from swinging too much.
