I don't claim to be an expert on dog food and ingredients but dogfoodadvisor.com gave this food a very good rating. We switched our very picky Yorkshire Terrier from Merrick Grain Free to this one, mainly because it was becoming more difficult to get a duck mix supply from Merrick. The grain free aspect of this food is a must for our little boy and we were reluctant to switch his food. After careful research, this taste/price/grain size seemed optimal to us. We have been switching to a new product for almost 4 weeks and have not encountered any problems. In fact I find our pup prefers this food to anything we have ever given him. His coat is still silky and we didn't have a single case of allergies during the transition.
