Review on 🔌 Ultra HD 4K HDMI KVM Switch: 4x1 Port, USB 2.0, HDCP 1.2 - No Power Adapter, Wireless Support by Nathan Vaughn

This worked fine with my Dell running Windows 10, but USB doesn't work at all with my Surface Book which also runs Windows 10. The whole point is getting it, should it have. I was able to easily switch between my work and my PC, but this item just doesn't work as advertised. For reference, I get an error popup saying the device cannot be configured. Then when I go to Device Manager it is listed as "Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed)". I tried all options to fix this and none of them worked. If anyone has a solution please let me know because so far this thing is garbage as far as I can use it. Update: I kept it because it worked with my other computers, but I can confirm that technically it works. it does not work with these computers. It seems to go through phases of staying disconnected, connecting and disconnecting multiple times in a single 20 minute session. I often have to unplug all power to restart it because it won't connect to my devices. We found another workaround for my problem so we will most likely bring it back if we still can.
