I recently installed this stereo in my brother's 2002 Honda Civic. He wanted a basic stereo to plug his iPod into. I have had JVC radios in the past and have always found them reliable. We chose this model because of the price and the front and rear AUX inputs. The rear entry is handy in that you can route the cable from the back of the radio to the center console, glove box, DIN pocket or any other place to get it clean. Watch. No more wires dangling from the front of your radio causing a mess and attracting thieves when you park. Even without adjusting the EQ settings, this radio really improves the sound of Honda's factory speakers. The only real issue I found was that the buttons seemed too bright at night compared to the brightness of the screen. Also, this model lacks the ability to customize the button/screen colors found on some of the more expensive JVC models. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. If you are looking for an affordable radio on a budget, be sure to check out the JVC KDR-330!
