Mmmmm. Video quality is expectedly poor, but particularly poor even when using S-Video. Worse than just capturing it from my phone screen. No "drivers" are needed, it just pretends to be a regular webcam, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially if you're streaming from one. This comes with DVR software for recording at certain times of the day, much like a VCR used to be, except it's not a tuner, meaning it can't change channels for you. Not that it's really useful as a DVR. This is most useful for converting VHS tapes to digital video, but be aware that the video quality is almost not worth it.
