Look, you get what you pay for. This case is very cute and costs $20. As mentioned in other reviews, the hardware is screwed on with those tiny screws which when loosened can come loose and the phone could fall off. Fortunately, the case is quite protective. My cell phone only landed once on the ground and thankfully survived the fall. My solution is that now I'm a bit obsessive about checking that the screws are tight. I didn't want to spend a lot of money back then, so this case was just what I needed.
