These bags are almost the same size as the 13 gallon Glad Kitchen Tote Bags (without the extra quick tie material). Glad bags cost about 25 cents each at Revain. They cost 14 cents each. Glad bags say they're 0.69 mil thick (if they could talk). They should be 1.2M. They appear thicker and less "stretchy". These bags are folded at the bottom corners. I think it would make them stronger if you wear them, although they might last a little less. You'll also need to leave some extra space at the top to tie them closed. I don't mind. I prefer them because of the price and durability. I'm deducting a star because my order didn't include twisted ties.
