Strong and strong! Great recyclable bags!

Those great bags! You can handle all of our paper, plastic and cans without tearing them up. I don't mind if I don't have strings or laces. We can easily shred our recyclables and quickly tie a bag (our 6 year old can do it too). 250 bags were enough for our family of 5 for a year and a half! I tried another brand (Hommp) and quickly found an alternative. So glad I found her!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The best recyclable bags, both in quality and price

I bought a box of these (12-16 gallons) in November 2011 and am now ordering a new box in April 2015. They are thick, heavy-duty bags that are perfect for most 13-gallon kitchen trash cans or garbage cans. They are ideal as recyclable bags. Very durable and a lot cheaper than what I've found in grocery stores, big boxes or warehouses. You won't regret buying them and they last almost five years if you use one bag a week on average.

The best of paper and plastic without complaint

Quality bags. We had no tears, no tears. Don't overload the bag because you'll need enough space at the top to tie it yourself (no ties). The description says 12-16 gallons, I would say they are definitely in the 12-13 gallon range. I use them as disposal bags for our car. We always have water bottles and soda cans with us from our travels, so instead of throwing them away, I take one of these bags and recycle it when we get home. They will serve you for a long time. They come neatly folded…

Good heavy bags; Good price

I was very happy with it. They're heavier and cheaper than the little recyclable bags I used to buy at the hardware store next door, and I've always run out. I had no problems with ripping or tearing. I have a two drawer base cabinet next to my sink with a plastic trash can and another for recycling. These bags are perfect for this application. If you have a giant trash can, you might need something bigger. 250 is a lot of bags so I put the big box in the basement and left 2 rolls in the…

Otherwise they are great for recycling

I have a serious problem with the way they are packaged. They are packaged in a large box with a perforation on one side, but tearing this piece off is almost impossible - I had to crawl through it with a knife. But inside, the pockets are folded in such a way that it's difficult to pull one out. This will probably get a little easier over time as the box empties, but so far I've struggled with it every time I've had to pull it out. Otherwise they are super easy to recycle. I use them with this

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Obsolete

Compare to Glad Bags

These bags are almost the same size as the 13 gallon Glad Kitchen Tote Bags (without the extra quick tie material). Glad bags cost about 25 cents each at Revain. They cost 14 cents each. Glad bags say they're 0.69 mil thick (if they could talk). They should be 1.2M. They appear thicker and less "stretchy". These bags are folded at the bottom corners. I think it would make them stronger if you wear them, although they might last a little less. You'll also need to leave some extra space at the…

Quality and Quantity

The package arrived on time as described and the box was handled with care. I have ordered these bags before and will order again due to the quality and quantity of the product. I have a 13 gallon plastic trash can in my kitchen that I take out every morning. I toss a few rolls at the bottom of the bin and they're always handy when I need to change bags. Perfect for daily bag changes as the bag isn't too full and it's so easy to tie when it's not that full. I don't have to tie a special little…

Cool bags and great price!

Recyclable bags come fully as described. We have a 13 gallon trash can and they are perfect for that. Once the basket is full, we simply tie the top. There really is no need for twirling ties. The bags are sturdy and we haven't had a single tear and don't expect any. They are recycled so why pay a high price for branded bags when they get the job done for a great price. Some reviews complain that they only come in one box. Yes, they are supplied in rolls in a shipping carton. I have no idea…
