Wow, it really worked! He found the problem and reset the SRS warning light!

Wow, that really worked! The SRS warning light came on on my 2010 Mercedes E350 and I called the MB service department. They said bring it in and we'll run the diagnostics for $189. I did a little research on google and found that you have OBD2 scanners that can run SRS (and ABS) system diagnostics, give reason codes and clear SRS trouble codes. I found the ML619 at Revain while looking for my car and OBD2 scanners that can reset the SRS came with the ML619. I have to say I was skeptical about buying Revain. After receiving it, I connected the scanner and looked at the error code. The scanner showed that the front left pelvic airbag has high resistance. Based on internet searches I reconnected the yellow plug under the driver's seat, cleared the fault codes and to my surprise the problem was fixed! It's been two weeks now and everything is great. I also hooked it up to my son's car to see if there was anything in there. Causes low brake fluid level. So I checked under the hood and sure enough, it was about 1/2 below normal. That's great. Also, I would recommend getting one of these before buying any car. You should now be able to check for errors, pending errors, or persistent errors.
