I have several devices that use tons of batteries, so I have to change batteries often. I decided a long time ago to use rechargeable batteries because they are cheaper in the long run. One of the problems with batteries is that I need a reliable and good quality charger. While it's not the best charger I've had, it's an upgrade over the last few. I ordered it not knowing if the charger is good for me, but because there were several batteries in the kit (4 AA and 4 AAA). I needed batteries but I lost faith in my old charger. The first thing I noticed is that the workmanship is better. The plastic seems a bit thicker and heavier than my other one. The LCD display is pretty good too because I can see how close they are to a full charge. Unfortunately, there is no LED charge status indicator that can be seen from afar. I also like the fact that two batteries of different sizes can be charged at the same time. It can use Micro-USB or USB-C cables, so it's versatile too. The cable is included, but there is no outlet, which is a disadvantage. Charger for 8 batteries is inexpensive.
