While the replacement metal hose connects seamlessly to the hose, it does not connect properly to the intact plastic portion of the hose. Too tight. I need to order a second metal part. If I knew I would have to shell out over $40 for two parts plus a few other parts I need, I would buy the whole vacuum cleaner.
