Wasn't expecting much, these are cutting boards. I have thick cutting boards that I use, but I need backups when others are in the dishwasher. When I received them I washed them in the dishwasher. They wash well and don't take up much space. Then I started using them for their intended purpose. There is a chicken on the carpet, a chicken is cut on it, and so on. After rinsing and putting in the dishwasher, it doesn't take up much space and washes and dries well. It has a non-slip backing to keep it from slipping everywhere when in use. I love these rugs! Easy to store as they are so flimsy but my goodness they do the job perfectly! I posted above a few days ago. I now snap every time I cook. That's great! I like to cut vegetables for omelets or pasta, I take them. Cut chicken slices for salads, take. I didn't know how many times a day I would use them. The fact that they are thin and packable is amazing! If you know someone who loves to cook and has everything I thought I had, they could use it. I didn't think I needed them but I can't stop using them!
