Review on Sterile Airless Bottle Lotion Bottles by Heidi Thompson

Great but difficult to fill

I really like these, I haven't had a single leak while traveling but I will say right away that they are difficult I have one a large jar of moisturizer with a pump which is ugly, too big for my toiletries but also something I use often enough to have in different places (bathroom, bedroom, purse etc.). ) and that seemed like the best solution. I filled 2 bottles of the cream and despite the thick consistency I had no problems with dosing. When I'm ready to fill it in, I use an old makeup brush handle to push the bottom down and it's easy enough. The problem is that the hole is so small, the whole bottle is very small that it's such a mess trying to fill it. The only method that works for me is to put moisturizer in a sandwich bag with the corner cut off and squeeze like a piping bag. However, you should stop frequently and tap it fairly aggressively or it will overflow repeatedly. This creates a huge mess and I'm sure I'll lose a product that doesn't make me happy. The bottle it comes in is smaller, it fits in the cap and I was able to pump it straight into the bottle without too much trouble. You still have to stop and press more often, but the more liquid consistency made it a little easier. I think they're probably best for thinner things like soaps or regular lotions, and I'll buy something else for thicker creams.

Pros
  • Airless pump bottles Can block harmful air and other contaminants
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
