I am a valuable (cheap) senior. I usually buy the cheapest things available and make them work. I have found that lower quality connectors are difficult to install as wire usually has to be wrapped around the terminal screws. This is difficult with 10 or 12 gauge wire, which often results in a loose connection, leading to overheating. Most of the Camco connectors I've used have an extra piece of metal on the terminal screw that is "sandwiched" between the screw head and the wire. The wire is then "clamped" between this piece of metal and the terminal. This keeps the wire straight, which greatly simplifies installation. Other Camco connectors have a hole in the plastic base into which the wire is inserted and then the terminal screw is tightened. They're even easier to use, but I've only seen them on smaller cable connectors. I think the easy installation is worth the small extra cost. I don't want to waste my free time working on the van. Not to mention potential safety issues caused by loose or overheated cables.
