UPDATE 9/20/20 I've tried this adapter on four laptops, a total of 50 50 shots of whether it works or not. I tried Dell. Two different Toshiba and Lenovo, it worked doesn't work on a Dell or one of the Toshiba but worked fine on another Toshiba and Lenovo so it's 50/50 better than nothing but it's up in the air if it does worth it The two main laptops I really need chargers for devices, these are the ones they don't work on. Keep that in mind if you are considering buying this. I've never tried other universal adapters, so I don't know if they're all like this or if it just sucks. I bought this to charge my old laptop. I lost the charger because it doesn't work for this Dell Inspiron 14z laptop. The charger sends charge, but because it is not the right laptop charger, it will not turn on or charge. Haven't tried this on any other laptops so it might work for some, you get a lot of features for the price.
