Very Strong - as strong as you need.

Turns out refrigerators can be very slippery - this magnet is super powerful, but does tend to slide down when stuck to a fridge. This is not really a good measure of it's strength because the finish of the fridge is slippery and the magnet is kind of heavy. It can pick up very heavy objects, unless they have a non-stick coating - then it might slip off :-).
