Review on Electric scooter MIDWAY i-One, up to 120 kg, gray by Micha Ambroziak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

This is my first electric scooter. The scooter was selected for specific purposes: - get from home to the subway, from the subway to work and back - ride in the park on weekends for short distances. Therefore, the scooter should be light, easy to fold and fit in the trunk of a car. With all this i-one copes perfectly. - 14 kg - optimal to lift with one hand when descending into the subway, etc. The reviews complain that it is heavy, not true. [: it weighs not 14, but 12 kg, info from the official midway page] It folds in one motion with the steering wheel fixed. - The power of the scooter is enough, with a full charge it quickly picks up the declared 30 km / h. This is more than enough for driving on sidewalks. Separately, I will highlight cruise control, a handy thing when you go for a long time in a straight line. - Range 20-23 km. After a month of use, I think that is not enough. The main disadvantage in my opinion is the electronic brake. In a straight line, it still slows down, but if you are driving downhill, then consider that you are driving without brakes. You have to go slower :) The comments complained about the mud flaps. I have all the rules, I don’t drive into puddles at speed, my shoes are clean, jeans too. Next nitpicking. Upset the build quality out of the box. Two weeks later, the steering wheel began to loosen up and a backlash appeared between the relay and the grip of 6-8 mm. It is treated by disassembly and constriction. No call. Doesn't go up steep hills. Summary: This scooter is for short distance sidewalk rides, with good speed, maneuverability and ease of use. In terms of price / quality ratio, it is definitely a very good option. Now I drive it every day to work, got into the rain, but still continue to ride it even in bad weather. 5 out of 5 Now I'm looking at more powerful scooters. Very bribed the opportunity to go where the car will not pass.

Pros
  • - Price - Speed - Weight - Ease of storage - Cruise control
Cons
  • - Electronic brake
