This gimbal is perfect for 1-axis gimbal and here's why. I like that you don't have to install an app to use it. You set it up and it's ready to go. It even includes a Bluetooth remote that you can click to take a photo or start recording. The phone holder can accommodate relatively large, wide phones, which works great when the phone stays centered and not moving. Side to side. I like that the gimble can be used in both portrait and landscape mode. In any case, the stabilization works great. I tested it by moving the grip from side to side and it held the phone in a horizontal position well. Overall this is excellent value for money.
