Too bad some reviewers didn't bother to read the instructions. There is a night light (left button) and two timer modes via the right button. A short click turns on the timer for a minute every 3 hours, and a long press generates ozone bursts for an hour. In one hour mode, you cannot stay in the room/car while it is running. This is a really well made and functional machine for the money. Update: The battery that comes with it is an 18650 1Ah tablet, I replaced mine with a larger capacity cell for longer run time.
