Review on 🧹 Ideal Replacement for RIDGID Vacs: IOYIJOI 1 Pack Standard Wet/Dry Vac Filter Vf4000 by Michael Herrera

I saw a genuine RIDGID VF4000 part for the same price as this one but went with this one as it was available next day as a genuine Revain Prime (not just Prime Shipping). item (receive it in a week or two) as part of RIDGID) and I wanted to get it sooner. I wish I could wait Unlike the RIDGID part where the end plate is made of hard plastic, this part is made of very flexible rubber. What does that mean? When you tighten the lock nut, the entire base "plate" flexes. I think it will work but not very happy - seems like it might come loose or crack. Same problem with the other end - the RIDGID part is rubber but much stiffer than this replacement and with a hard plastic base plate that bolts onto it makes a good seal. I think this will work for a while, but considering it's a pretty flimsy alternative, I'm guessing it won't last as long as I use my shop vacuum. Next time I need a filter I'll wait another week and buy a genuine RIDGID product for the same price.
