Review on Triangle Group TR968 225/55 R17 101 year old by Jnis vele ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

For a long time I doubted whether to take a directional tread pattern or not. In connection with the current considerable prices, I decided on the Triangle TR968. Installed and was pleasantly surprised. Before that, from my summer ones, in chronological order: some kind of Continental extremecontact, Michelin (I don’t remember the model anymore) and Kumho Ecsta LE, so I will compare with them. 1) For the price, the triangle is clearly in the lead. 2) In terms of noiselessness, it will be the second after Michelin, having changed shoes from Kumho to Triangle, I found that the noise from the roadway has slightly decreased, I did not measure it with the device, but because earlier, at a speed of 80 km / h, the music was well audible at 12-13 divisions (according to my radio tape recorder), now it is enough to unscrew it by 9-10, and 12 is already loud. The Michelin was just really quiet, with the windows open it only slightly rustled on the asphalt, the Continental howled terribly already at 50 km / h, though it’s worth paying tribute after 100 it was already tolerable. 3) Softness - seems a little more comfortable than Kumho, the fifth point did not notice a strong difference. Michelin was again the best. Continental was plastic. 4) I can’t say anything good or bad about the hook. It's somewhere in line with the rest, where I swish into corners on a Kumho or Michelin, and I can also on a Triangle. I'm not a racer, this handle is enough for my ears. Unless the Continental refused to whistle, but slowly and in a controlled manner slipped off the trajectory; there is something so reckless in this rubber, I think it is capable of more. 5) I won’t say anything about strength yet. I'm only on my second day. It will not be a pity if anything, such rubber is sold everywhere and finding a replacement is not difficult and is inexpensive. My opinion: it’s worth taking, tires are no worse than branded ones. I think in 3 years Triangle will be the same recognizable and respected brand as the same Korean Kumho and Hankook and prices will go up. Auto front wheel drive, 200 hp dimension: 225/50 R17
