Review on Stainless Acrylic Standoff Screws for Effective Advertising by Dustin Miller

I may have overlooked it in the product description, these elements are hollow inside. It's amazing how seamlessly the base unit connects together. It is unbelievable to me that the manufacturer went to great lengths to cut out the cylinder and weld the ends together to create this one piece. Very easy. So light it could be aluminum. Maybe the manufacturer (think Chinese) was trying to save weight by shipping it this way? The cap isn't entirely stainless steel either. The lid is made of solid steel (galvanized) with a matching stainless steel lid/sleeve. My application was external, I doubt how they will withstand the weather. The time will show.
