Klean Kanteen TK Wide 20 oz Wide Loop Handle

I do not work for Klean Kanteen and Klean Kanteen has not sent me any promotional material or compensated me in any way for writing this review. I have been an avid user of Klean Kanteen products since visiting their website and reading all the information about their company practices. I love this TK Wide 20 oz water bottle. The wide loop is the best closure for this bottle in my opinion. Cafe lid works perfectly. But I prefer the best insulation properties of the wide loop cap. Absolutely no leakage problems thanks to the wide hinged lid. Yes, of course you have to unscrew the cap to drink, but that doesn't bother me at all. The 20 ounce Klean Kanteen TK Wide is my favorite water bottle. It fits in every cup holder in every car I've driven. It fits nicely in the side mesh pocket of all my backpacks or slings. It keeps things cold or warm for a long time. In fact, they work so well that I have three 20oz TK Wide, 1 32oz TK Wide, and 1 64oz TK Wide on the go. 64 ounces are used to store ice all day while I'm at work or as a craft beer brewer on the weekends. TK Wide keeps liquids hot so well that I use 32 ounces to keep my green tea warm throughout my workday. I pour 8 ounce glasses at a time and at the end of the day the last 8 ounce cup is still warm enough to drink. I use one of the 20 ounces to carry my green smoothies to work. No matter what you need to keep things hot or cold, Klean Kanteen has you covered and they're just as good as Yeti or HydroFlask. Clint Cantin is a great company. In fact, of all the different brands of insulated water bottles, Klean Kanteen is the only one I've seen that donates 1% of their annual sales to charities dedicated to climate change and the environment. They are certified carbon neutral and a B-rated Certified Corporation. They use high-efficiency solar panels at their headquarters in Chico, California. They are also the only bottled water manufacturer that buys carbon and renewable energy credits. If you are a climate and environmentally conscious individual then choosing a Klean Kanteen product is worth your time and money. I've also been on the Yeti website and the Hydroflask website and haven't seen anything on either of their websites about donating proceeds to climate action, buying renewable energy credits, or offsetting carbon emissions, that the company is a B-certified company. This is one of the reasons I chose to buy from Klean Kanteen.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • So far so good
