Looking at all this on the market, I believe this model is the same as others just from other vendors. This K18 detector is under $20 while I have seen the exact same style as others selling for up to $60 or more. When we travel my wife is always paranoid about "what if" there was a bug or a camera in the room so that would be basically why this would be used. Now it collects a lot of false signals, so you need to set the sensitivity level at which it doesn't work so that it warns when it gets close to a listening device. It came right out of the box, has everything you need to buy nothing else and is rechargeable. We mainly use infrared to detect hidden pinhole cameras. As I discussed in the video, this company is really impressive at presenting their product as soon as I receive it and haven't even opened it with the magnetic lid and felt/foam packaging. I know it's just packaging, but when they've invested so much I feel the device itself should be of the same quality. I think if you are in the market for one of these I recommend giving it a try and with Revain's return policy you have nothing to lose.
