This is a very nice diaper bag! It's big enough for everything I need for a newborn. Although it's not too big and bulky. I feel confident that I have everything I need without feeling like I'm carrying a huge suitcase! Pros: - The price is very affordable. Most diaper bags of this quality are usually at least twice the price of this bag. The backpack straps are nicely padded. You stay comfortable for a long time! - This diaper bag is the perfect size! - It has many pockets, both inside and outside. There's even a pocket on the lower back. This is great for accessing items at the bottom of the bag without having to take everything out at the top. The included changing mat is large and easy to clean. The material used does not absorb liquids like other changing mats. It makes cleaning easier! (I've attached a photo of a newborn diaper on a changing pad to show size comparison.) - The diaper bag is made of high quality, durable material. - The design of this bag is so cute! - There are straps on the back. to attach the diaper bag to the stroller. So you can relieve your back during long walks. Although my stroller has a storage basket at the bottom, it doesn't fit in many diaper bags. So the stroller straps are a very nice feature. - There are two waterproof pockets. One in front and one behind. This is especially useful for soiled clothes when walking. (I use one for creams and lotions, so if they spill, I don't have to worry about them getting on everything.) Three insulated bottle pockets on the front fit wide-mouth bottles. Cons: The front pocket doesn't fit much after putting three bottles in the padded pockets. (This is not a big problem as there are so many other pockets in this diaper bag.) - The changing pad can be a bit difficult to bring back when the diaper bag is full. (I found it easier to put the changing pad back in if you ran your hand down the side of the changing bag and slightly pushed your stuff out of the way.) My old changing bag had a pocket specifically for the changing pad. However, the lack of this bag is not an obstacle for me. * The cons I mentioned are not very important to me and I don't think this item should lose a star rating for those reasons. I still think it's a 5 star product! *Overall this is a quality diaper bag, especially for the price. It's sturdy, cute and big with lots of pockets. You just can't beat him! I absolutely recommend this bag and would buy it again if needed! *** TO UPDATE! When I first started using this bag I really appreciated the insulated bottle pockets in the front pocket. Back then I only used 2 ounces. Bottles for collecting milk. I could fit 2 ounces. Bottle with ice stick for water bottles. Now when using larger bottles (standard size) I can't put an ice pack in my bag with the bottle. The insulation alone prevents the bottles from staying cold for a very long time. This is very problematic with breast milk. Now I use insulated bags like regular bags and have to carry a separate insulated bottle bag. I am considering buying a new diaper bag with a large insulated bottle compartment. For this reason I am deducting a star from my rating. If you don't need to keep the bottles cold for a long time, this is not a problem for you. I can't talk about keeping the bottles warm because I always warm them up before giving them to the baby.
