I've been using specialty CAT5/CAT6 wire strippers for years and there's no better way to do it! If you are not using the tool for a single purpose, you are probably wasting your time. The other tool I have is a UTP/stp cable stripper. I really like this tool, the price is right and when I tested it with a couple of strippers it didn't cut the wires in the cable at all! Very clean track! I can't say that about my old one linked above. The ideal was good, but it was easier to cut the pairs in the cable and it costs more than this! This tool is the clear winner. This is good value for money. If you work with CAT5 or CAT6 cables and don't have such a tool, just add it to your shopping cart right away. You will not regret it!
