I bought this kidde alarm to replace my kidde alarm.

I bought this Kidde alarm clock to replace a Kidde alarm clock that broke after only three years. Just a year later it failed again, ie kept working in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. I've vacuumed the alarm repeatedly to ensure dust isn't causing false alarms and changed the 9 volt battery several times to no avail. I will not buy another Kidde product.
