I have an old Krups Moka Brew 8 cup coffee maker and its basket requires flat disc filters. Many companies have stopped production. They work, although I have to use two of them because they are SLIGHTLY too small in diameter and have valves/holes in the center to accommodate the percolator shaft. By using two filters and moving them slightly to the bottom of the shallow basket, I can solve both of these problems fairly reliably. Using them is a much better option than buying basket filters and trimming them by hand. They are economical even when two are used at the same time. It's a bit of an adventure to line up two of these discs on the bottom of a coffee basket without drinking any coffee. Unless Krups sees fit to re-make filters for this machine I will continue to use them until I decide to upgrade to the new 10 cup version of Moka Brew which has a reusable filter.
