Excellent option for not nearby use. I wouldn't use them for anything that requires special attention like a wedding cake or a large sized photo for posing, but for hanging on a wall or hiding in a corner where you can't get up close and personal they are great . They had an odor but it dissipated quickly, so if you plan to use them on a cake, let them sit first. I've included near and far photos for detail, I think they're minimal for what they are and the flocking was done well - definitely looks great on a wall where I couldn't place real plants due to lack of sun.
