I've been thinking about buying a smokehouse or grill for over a year, but I haven't decided. I've heard friends talk about the fryer and maybe that's what I wanted to do. After looking at fryers and reading reviews I noticed that people either loved their fryers or hated them after using them for the first time, and smelled like burnt plastic. I could have chosen a toaster style air fryer, I liked it but felt it was too big for my countertop. I could buy an air fryer that doubles as a pressure cooker, or the original drawer/basket model. After several hours of searching and researching, I decided that the basket version suited me best. This Dreo air fryer looked the best, it had a touch control panel on top, window and light and I figured 6.8 liters would be enough. I know I bought a new product with no reviews because it looked like it. Rschunimagu. Each fryer received positive reviews so I just took a chance that it was going to be a good experience and bought a nice sized fryer with easy touch controls on top and a window in the front. I received my fryer in 3 or 4 hours. days. I have never received a package in perfect condition in my life. As a professional driver I have seen many packages and none as clean as this one. First thought... Oh! It is big. This beautiful machine is approximately 13 inches tall, deep and wide. I took it outside and ran it once as the instructions say to burn it out, that plastic smell people complain about. I can cook chicken in the oven, in the toaster, and over charcoal. I had no idea what to expect, whether it would sting from the outside, whether it would be delicious. I washed and dried the chicken, then added spices, that's all. The fryer gets hot so I bought some extra light olive oil and a spray bottle. I read to use an oil that can heat up without smoke, so I bought extra light olive oil. So I'm hardened and ready. I put a touch or sprayed oil in the basket to keep it from sticking, it has a non-stick coating but thought I was safe. I put the grate on and sprayed it lightly with oil. I closed the air fryer, preheated it and loaded my thighs. I have since learned that 380 degrees for 25 minutes reheated my chicken thighs to 175 degrees inside. Every once in a while I would look through the window, start skin side down and turn it over after 15 minutes. After 25 minutes my chicken was lightly browned and slightly crispy. I can't remember ever having better chicken. The fries were great too. I've only had this Dreo air fryer for a few days but I use it daily, love it and it's easy to clean. I'm fed up, the windows have been sold to me and I'm happy with my purchase
