Of many similar items, this one seems to be the best as it includes a mist function (there is a water compartment on the top) as well as two grids that can be filled with water and placed in the freezer compartment . There is actually room in the block for both grills as shown in my drawing, but it is better to place one at a time so that when one has melted it can be replaced with the other. They cool down to room temperature very quickly (about 15 minutes) but I contacted the seller and they gave me two more grills to replace when they thaw! However, keep in mind that the grates will produce a lot of condensate that will spill onto any surface the unit is placed on. It won't replace an air conditioner or a fan, but it's a great personal cooling device that cools the air noticeably much more than the average fan.
