Great monitor for my M1 Mac Mini

I bought this ultrawide monitor to use with my new M1 Mac Mini. I was able to connect the monitor to my Mac Mini using a USB-C to DisplayPort cable (not included with the monitor) and plugged the USB-C end into the Thunderport port on my Mac Mini. The monitor immediately set itself to a maximum resolution of 3440x1440. The screen refresh rate is 100Hz for the DisplayPort connection, which should allow for smooth scrolling of images on the screen (looks nice, but I don't see much of a difference). I also connected my work laptop to the monitor's HDMI port (using the cable that came with it) and it gave me a resolution of 3440 x 1440 but with a refresh rate of 85 Hz. It's nice that I can choose between DisplayPort -Can switch input and HDMI input. This monitor has two built-in 7W speakers that sound acceptable, but the Mac Mini cannot control the volume. as the audio signal is transmitted via the DisplayPort/HDMI connection. I'm not sure if this applies to other computers and laptops, but the Mac Mini has this limitation. In my case, I chose not to use the monitor's internal speakers and use external speakers for my Mac Mini's audio. This monitor has many options to control the color and resolution of the monitor. You can use the default settings or make your own settings. I spent some time tweaking everything until I was completely happy with the display output. Note that the monitor has a flat matte screen to avoid reflections (which I like). Also, this monitor has a slight screen flex which I was initially concerned about liking, but the flex is so slight that I hardly notice it. I believe they added the curve due to the length of the monitor and the fact that with a perfectly flat monitor you could be looking at the left and right at an angle. I've been using it for a week now with no problems. . I think this is a great monitor. The only negative I see is that the monitor shakes a bit when I type on the keyboard. I don't type very much, so I'm not sure why light keystrokes are carried over from my desk to my monitor. If you mount this monitor on the wall, you shouldn't have this problem. For me it's not so bad to return the monitor. If that bothers me in the future, I can add extra supports to the sides.
