We got one of these in a subscription box. My son liked it very much. So much so that we decided to buy one for my youngest son. He loves it too. This one is different from the other one we received. The first had green and blue lights - they could switch between colors, or they could be green or blue. We've never used the fade feature, so I wasn't too disappointed to find that it wasn't an option. However, it has an additional color of red lights. I read a study that said dim red lights are best for relaxing and falling asleep. I don't know, but I will choose any relaxation/sleep strategy I can use when it comes to my youngest son. These lamps are definitely worth the extra money. We have a plethora of night lights and none have been loved more than these. I don't know why, I'm not trying to understand my kids' minds. But if you're torn between choosing a night light for your little one, I can tell you that you can't go wrong with this light!
