Last winter I bought two of these in red (large for a 40-45lb Labrador/Border Collie, XL for a 65-70lb Pitbull). The Border Collie doesn't like it (it's a bit tight for a large size, more like a medium compared to an XL. If in doubt maybe a larger size). But the Pitbull likes it so much that I bought another one (blue). this year. He's so happy in it! He literally dips his head in! It keeps him warm and he seems very comfortable in it. He wore it several times for several days in a row when it was particularly cold (it's very temperature sensitive). He doesn't interfere with potty training, and his belts are put on (hood pushed aside). Washes well and the red fabric has stood up well to frequent winter use. If only they were in lighter colors (orange! yellow!) I would buy more!
