Does the job, but it's just a simple deterrent. The cable trap is pretty good and works well in combination with other components. I was able to put 3 cables in it. The adhesive plate is easy to remove with something like a razor blade or a screwdriver. You can remove the adhesive and stick the plate onto something if you like, but then again if someone has small wire cutters they can just cut the cable. The K-slots can usually be bypassed by twisting them very hard. That can destroy the body of whatever it's attached to, but I doubt most thieves really care. If you're really concerned about this, use a padlock slot instead (if the item has one) or go to a hardware store, get padlock hardware, and make something out of it.
