Review on Stylish and Comfortable: Skechers Performance Womens Lite Evoke Walking Women's Shoes by Rebecca Carey

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little wide, like slippers.

I've always been looking for simple, comfortable flats to help treat plantar fasciitis and metatarsal shift. I have other sketchers similar to these (but in a looser style) that are really handy and supportive. I wanted something more stylish (they're ugly, to be honest) that I can wear with both dresses and jeans. I was the same size as my other pair but they had my toes pointing up and rubbing against the inside of the toe. Unexpectedly, they were very wide. My feet are a little narrow, but not so much that I've ever had to buy tight shoes. Even at a short length, they were so wide that when I got in, they buckled sideways and my legs fell out a bit. With such a length I couldn't exchange them for a smaller size so I just sent them back (all no fuss and no hassle). The shoes themselves are visually too soft and thick, making them look like slippers or slippers. The soles felt comfortable although I could wear them. So if your feet are a bit wide, they should be great.

Pros
  • Extremely light and flexible
Cons
  • Replacement for the old
