I think that it is easy to use, fast results are obtained in minutes or hours instead of days/weeks spent waiting! It's very efficient at finding information about applicants who have not been vetted by other agencies (e.g., credit bureaus).

Sometimes there will be errors where an applicant has had their social media profile removed but they still show up as active users - this can sometimes lead into confusion when reviewing applications from former employees with previous employers having them deactivate accounts prior employment ended.
