I seem to have had my Ryobi drill forever, and every few years I had to buy new batteries because the old ones wouldn't hold a charge. Well, Ryobi swapped out their batteries - for the better - and I had a battery that lasted 6 times longer than my previous batteries. Problem? My old chargers didn't charge it. Enter this charger. BONUS: It charges both new and old batteries. And it works fine. zero complaints. It's a bit more than my previous chargers, but that's okay - I only need one of these instead of two. If you have a loyal Ryobi and want to keep him, do it. New batteries work great. You just need this charger to power them up.
