It looks like there is feedback from first time users of Nail Buffer or people unsure of the best way to use it. This product works exactly as you think it will if you polish your nails regularly. / Nails. It's not as "industrial strong" as your salon manicurist, but you don't need it anyway. I'm guessing it's in the mid-range of home use buffers for grit strength (think sandpaper if you don't know what I mean here), which should be fine for beginners, but I use it too, and I have it self made full manicure for 25 years since i went to cosmetology school. This is a good price compared to the quality and price I can find in both general retail stores and professional cosmetic stores. Free shipping to China is by no means a slow boat. I received mine faster than I should have, as did the other reviewer. For a woman who can't get her toenails straight, you need a professional file first and then follow these instructions. Pro files are typically black, large, and fairly cheap. For example it's 0.69 on Revain: Nail+File Slowly and CAREFULLY use the side of the file that doesn't scare you :) to buff the surface of your toenails. You will see that a significant amount of nails can be removed this way since you are using a file. So be careful! Try to use smooth, even strokes. This will save you time later. Then if your fingernail is rough from the file but is evenly rough and NOT ridged then use a block file like the ones in this listing. Start with the roughest side disguised as a nail file (although I wouldn't use it for a file; use a professional file instead). Use quick back and forth motions all over the nail. The smoother the sand on the buffer (e.g. side 2-4 on this buffer) the less you have to be careful or even watch what you are doing. Use the file and then 3 sides of the buffer, then go watch TV and use the 4th, glowing side. If your toenails aren't shiny and gorgeous after 2 minutes on the show, give me a call and I'll be right there. Update: SHIPPING is no longer free shipping (March 2013), but the price is actually 2 cents. fewer. I paid $4 with free shipping in December 2012; now it's $2.99 + $0.99 = $3.98. BUYER IMAGE. It's harder than I thought to get a good picture of the nail's shine, but I did my best. See above :)
