You can't use amiibo in ssbu as the battle character you control
I thought I did enough research but I was wrong. In my opinion there is no point in owning an amiibo if you can't physically fight as an amiibo. Just a drain on Nintendo's money. I was very excited to fight as my amiibo in ssbu, but later found out that you can't be too disappointed in Nintendo.
