I'm not picky about my stuff, but normal wear and tear will affect any key fob. They get dropped, scratched in pockets with keys, and thrown around a lot in a few years of owning a car. It was a great inexpensive option to protect something that costs a few hundred dollars to replace. Silicone is not sticky but easy to grip. They fit perfectly---very snug, but the silicone stretches so you can put the keychain into the silicone case, it just takes a little effort and time to fully insert the keychain. Blue is a great color - both blue and black look great, and the white icons make it just as easy to identify the right buttons when the case is on as it is when the fob is bare.
