I bought this lock for my Tevlaphee trailer because my trailer is outside most of the time and I wanted something that would deter simple adventure thieves. It was reasonably priced compared to some other big brands and I was surprised at how easy it was to use. It literally takes less than 5 seconds to install and uninstall with one key. Everyone knows a grinder will fit through almost any lock, including a trailer's tongue if someone wants to, but it prevents a thief from escaping with my trailer and if they tried to grind something it would be on security cameras. My main concern was that I would have to insert a key to install it and I'm happy to report that no key is required for installation. Simply place the ball on your tongue, insert the U-shaped striker into the holes and push down. It snaps firmly into place, rendering the ball mount unusable once installed. Removal is easy with the turn of a wrench that is uniquely shaped and feels very durable. It also came with TWO keys and a small card thanking me for my purchase, as well as an email for any support needs. I can definitely recommend this trailer lock.
